Job Details

This isn’t a 9-to-5 desk job — it’s a hands‑on, fast‑moving role for someone who loves to solve problems, take initiative, and make things happen.

As part of Altea’s growth, you’ll lead the delivery of new club openings, operational project, manage vendor coordination and procurement, and oversee CapEx execution. Every project will bring new challenges — and the opportunity to shape the spaces and experiences that define our brand.

You’ll keep multiple workstreams in motion, from vendor relationships and purchase orders to timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and on brand.

Collaboration is key: you’ll partner with leaders and teams across the company to keep everything aligned and moving forward.

If you’re passionate about fitness and wellness, eager to learn, and have an entrepreneurial spark, you’ll thrive here. This role rewards energy, curiosity, and accountability — every day brings momentum, not routine.

Join us if you’re ready to build, create, and grow with one of the most dynamic teams in the fitness industry.

This job might be for you if you have the following expertise & passion
  • Passionate About Fitness: You live and breathe the active lifestyle and want to shape the environments where others can thrive.
  • Entrepreneurial & Self‑Motivated: You’re a self‑starter who takes initiative, identifies opportunities, and drives results without waiting for direction.
  • Solutions‑Based: You focus on outcomes, not obstacles — bringing ideas, structure, and energy to every challenge.
  • Highly Organized: You manage complex workflows, multiple stakeholders, and detailed documentation with precision.
  • Collaborative & Influential: You communicate effectively across departments and vendors, aligning people around common goals.
  • Adaptable: You thrive in a non‑traditional work environment — sometimes remote, sometimes onsite — wherever the project needs you most.
As a Facilities & Club Openings Project Manager a typical day might include the following
  • Leading the full lifecycle of projects — from planning to launch — for new club openings, renovations, and capital initiatives.
  • Acting as the go‑to coordinator between Operations, Design, IT, Marketing, and other teams to keep projects on track.
  • Translating big‑picture goals into clear timelines, deliverables, and actionable plans.
  • Hosting project meetings, tracking milestones, and proactively resolving issues before they escalate.
  • Managing procurement for furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), including fitness gear, tech systems, and décor.
  • Building strong vendor relationships to ensure quality, pricing integrity, and on‑time delivery.
  • Issuing purchase orders, reconciling invoices, and maintaining accurate budget visibility.
  • Driving cost‑saving opportunities and process improvements across procurement and supply chain activities.
  • Coordinating post‑opening activities like system training and vendor follow‑up to ensure smooth operations.
  • Documenting lessons learned and sharing best practices to continuously improve future projects.
  • Communicating clearly and consistently with leadership and cross‑functional teams to maintain alignment and accountability.
To land this role you need to have
  • Post‑secondary diploma in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in project coordination or management, ideally within retail, hospitality, or fitness sectors.
  • Proven success in procurement, CapEx management, or multi‑stakeholder project execution. Experience and strong understanding of construction, interior design and facilities is preferred.
  • Strong financial and administrative acumen with experience in budgeting and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and other project management tools.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset — and genuine enthusiasm for fitness and wellness.
Perks of this position include
  • A competitive salary
  • Group Health Benefits
  • Complimentary individual membership
  • Maternity/Paternity top up
  • Team Member Perks
  • Complete training and development package
  • Working alongside great people in a culture that fosters empowerment
