Qualifications

• Metal Fabricator/Fitter 437A or equivalent.
• 1–4 years of fabrication experience.
• Stainless Steel TIG welding experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Layout and fit-up tasks as required.
• Operate brake, shear and saw; use iron worker.
• Weld stainless steel and polish/finish welds.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
• Conduct quality control checks.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers and product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Layout (fitting)
• Use of brake, shear and saw
• Use of iron worker
• Welding
• Polishing/finishing welds
• Assist with various shop projects, including shop maintenance
• Fabrication of various jobs/projects
• Able to read blueprints/drawing/sketches
• Read and understand schematics and blueprints
• Conduct quality control checks
• Work closely with designers & engineers & product development
• Accurate and timely completion of all daily paperwork

Requirements

• Completion of High School or equivalent
• Metal Fabricator/Fitter 437A or equivalent
• Previous 1-4 years of fabrication experience
• Stainless Steel TIG welding experience as a must
• CWB tickets considered a strong asset
• You have a get it done attitude and are skilled at removing barriers
• You have the ability to think beyond the needs of the customer to point out errors and potential issues
• You are able to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions, cope effectively with complexity and change, quickly understand and absorb new information and respond appropriate
