Bromer Inc. in Terrebonne, Quebec, is seeking a skilled welder to join our on-site fabrication team. You will interpret welding process specifications, operate welding equipment, and read blueprints to fabricate or repair metal parts.

We look for 3–5 years of welding experience, a trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience, and a proven ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment. On-site work only with metal fabrication focus.

• 3 years to less than 5 years of welding experience.
• Education includes an other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to read welding specifications and blueprints.

• Interpret welding process specifications.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes.
• Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards.
• Operate flame-cutting equipment.
• Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal.
• Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment.
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
• Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts.
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
