Job summary

Industrial Electric Mfg. (IEM) in Surrey, BC is looking for a Fabrication Production Assembler to support daily operations by performing basic fabrication, machine operation, and material preparation per specs. Shifts include Weekday Day/Night with premiums and Weekend Nights. Salary is CAD 19.50 per hour.

The role requires reading drawings, measuring materials, finishing tasks, and maintaining clean, safe work areas while ensuring quality and production standards.

Qualifications

• Fabrication/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to measure, cut, shape materials per work orders.
• Basic math for measuring and material handling.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as press brakes, pallet jack and strapping units.
• Measure, cut, shape and prepare materials per drawings or work orders.
• Perform general assembly and finishing tasks including sanding and deburring.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and instructions.
• Maintain production records and complete work orders on time.
• Prepare surfaces for painting or powder coating and inspect finish.
