We are currently looking for a Front End Developer to join our team.

We are currently looking for a Front-End Web Developer to join our Mississauga team! The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining user-facing website components while ensuring compliance with PMRI’s standard operating procedures and security requirements. This role focuses primarily on WordPress-based websites and front-end technologies. The Web Developer position reports to Director, IT Development and/or designate.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and page layouts
• Collaborate with IT, Marketing, QA, and Business teams to gather and implement requirements
• Customize and manage WordPress plugins while ensuring performance and security
• Maintain and update website content, layouts, and styling in line with branding and compliance requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end, theme, and plugin-related issues
• Apply website security best practices, including updates, access control, and vulnerability mitigation
• Support website hosting environments, deployments, and backups in coordination with IT
• Maintain documentation for website changes, configurations, and updates
• Participate in testing and quality checks for website updates and new features
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Web Development, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Strong experience with WordPress development, including themes and plugins
• Experience with common WordPress page builders
• Basic understanding of PHP for WordPress customization
• Familiarity with hosting environments, DNS, SSL, and deployment workflows
• Knowledge of website security, performance optimization, and SEO fundamentals
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a regulated environment
• Team-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
