We are seeking experienced Contract Instructor Pilots to support our Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) business area in various CONUS and OCONUS locations. Learn more of our F-35 Fast Facts.
As a Contract Instructor Pilot, you will support military pilots in maintaining their qualification level in the Pilot Training Device by executing approved pilot training syllabi, upgrade, and tactics training. This position involves providing pilot training using the F‑35 Full Mission Simulator (FMS) and operating the Instructor Operating Station (IOS). The instructor will also serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for pilot training and tactics development, as well as recommendations for courseware updates.
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years. Special Program Access Clearance (PAR).

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington D.C. is $139,600–$246,100. Benefits offered include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short‑Term Disability, Long‑Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
