Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Teachers
• Educational Assistant Diploma or Educational Support Diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution
• Developmental Service Worker (DSW) from an accredited post-secondary institution
• Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from an accredited post-secondary institution
• Social Services Diploma (SSW) from an accredited post-secondary institution
• Post-secondary degree in Sociology with related work/volunteer experience (1,224 hours)
• Minimum six month diploma/certificate in child-related discipline with 1,224 hours of related work
• Six month certificate in child-related discipline with 1,224 hours
• Complementary degree/diploma supporting special needs with 1,224 hours
• Valid Behaviour Management Systems certification
• Experience with students with special needs and behavioural disabilities
• Autism Spectrum Disorder Training
• Lifting/Positioning Training
