Responsibilities
  • Operate multiple pieces of equipment - Excavators, Loaders, Skid Steer and Rock Truck
  • Fill out and understand an equipment logbook
  • Perform daily basic service and preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Interprets verbal and non-verbal communication (including hand signals) from operators, ground personnel and Labourers, and acts accordingly
  • Recognize existing and potential hazards and know how to identify these through conducting a field level pre-job hazard analysis, checking the machine for hazards and assessing any tasks before starting
  • Operate equipment in a safe manner be willing to comply with Ledcor’s safety commitments
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience operating various heavy equipment
  • Demonstrate skills and experience with working around utilities, tight spaces
  • Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
  • Valid government photo ID
  • Client online orientations must be completed
Work Conditions
  • Project scope to commence in February 2026
  • Work schedule: 5 days on, and 2 days off plus statutory holidays off
  • Extended health benefits provided by CLAC
  • Weekly payment of wages
