This expression of interest for a CRM Application Administrator / Developer will support the continued evolution of Algonquin College’s Salesforce platform by delivering innovative solutions that advance institutional priorities and enhance the experience of employees, students, and external partners.
In this dynamic role, you'll play a senior, hands‑on role in the development, administration, and enhancement of the College's Salesforce environment. Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Solutions Salesforce, you'll collaborate with stakeholders across the College to understand business requirements, analyze processes, and design technology solutions that align with organizational goals.
Acting as a trusted advisor and technical expert, you'll bridge business needs and technology capabilities through solution architecture, platform configuration, custom development, integrations, testing, implementation, and ongoing support. You'll contribute to the successful delivery and continuous improvement of Salesforce Education Cloud and related applications by providing technical leadership, development expertise, business analysis, and operational support.
Working closely with clients and colleagues, you'll help ensure Salesforce solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with institutional priorities while delivering value to the College community. Your work will also support the ongoing evolution of the College's Salesforce Centre of Excellence, governance framework, and Copado‑managed DevOps practices.
This includes contributing to technical documentation, promoting development standards and best practices, supporting user enablement, and identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement. Leveraging strong development, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of the College's Salesforce ecosystem.
This role is suited for experienced Salesforce professionals who combine strong development expertise with business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and solution delivery capabilities.
Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I, and either Platform Developer II or JavaScript Developer I certifications are highly valued. Additional certifications in Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Platform App Builder, Copado, Agentforce, or related disciplines would be considered assets.
A diploma or degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered.
