A leading transportation company in Canada is seeking an Expert in Sourcing & Candidate Experience focused on Indigenous Talent. The successful candidate will lead the Indigenous employment strategy, manage partnerships with Indigenous communities, and enhance the candidate experience through personalized engagement. The Expert, Sourcing & Candidate Experience (Indigenous Talent) leads the implementation of the Indigenous employment strategy, Indigenous talent sourcing, partnerships, and candidate experience. This role will be required to work in partnership with the Indigenous Affairs team, Talent Acquisition Managers, HR partners, the Inclusion and Campus teams and other key stakeholders. Through and with the support of the Indigenous Relations Team, this role will also build relationships with Indigenous communities, identify employment hiring initiatives, ensure a high-touch pre-boarding experience and support retention activities. Additionally, they manage sourcing vendors, interview for talent pools, and train recruiters on Indigenous hiring best practices. This role will work to support CN’s IRAP commitments in relation to the People and Employment pillar.
