A leading engineering firm in Canada is seeking an Experienced Technician to supervise field and lab staff across Atlantic Canada. The role involves client communication, reviewing project specifications, and conducting materials testing. Candidates should have a Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology and substantial experience as a Materials Technician. Strong organizational skills and adherence to safety standards are essential. Work may require travel to remote locations with flexible schedules.
WSP is seeking an Experienced Technician for various projects with our Team, across Atlantic Canada, responsible for the supervision of field and laboratory staff on project sites, act as the primary representative for client communication, review of technical work and overall performance, reporting and oversight of the materials quality control testing services in both the field and laboratory, and ensuring all work is in accordance with WSP’s and the Project’s, safety, quality, and environmental programs. Scope will include testing of earthworks, granulars, portland cement concrete, and hot mix asphalt.
The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
