Job summary

Woodbine Animal Clinic in Toronto's east end is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our close-knit, collaborative team.

This role involves surgical and dental anesthesia monitoring, labs and diagnostics, nursing care, client education, and teamwork with our veterinarians to deliver outstanding care.

Qualifications

  • Must be registered and in good standing with the OAVT.
  • Experience in small animal practice.
  • Confident, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Values teamwork and open communication.
  • Passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care.
  • Wants to be empowered to use full scope of practice.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor anesthesia during surgical and dental procedures.
  • Perform laboratory diagnostics and sample collection.
  • Conduct diagnostic imaging and patient assessments.
  • Provide nursing care for hospitalized and medical patients.
  • Educate clients and communicate clearly.
  • Handle fearful patients with Fear Free techniques.
  • Collaborate with veterinarians to deliver high-quality care.
