Job summary

A leading HVAC service provider in Southwestern Ontario is seeking an experienced HVAC technician. This role involves maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Candidates should hold an HVAC Tech CT license, possess EPA certifications, and demonstrate excellent customer service and problem-solving skills. A valid driver's license and commitment to training are also required.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate good customer service skills and communicate clearly.
  • Safely work from extension ladders and lifts.
  • Maintain accurate records in the Customer Service Management System.

Responsibilities

  • Provide maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems.
  • Problem solve HVAC service calls on major brands.
  • Train and mentor service technicians and apprentices.

Position Summary

To provide maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of residential and commercial heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems according to company/manufacturing standards and local codes.

Required Qualifications
  • HVAC Tech CT license B2, D2 or S2
  • EPA cert or NATE Certs
  • Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
  • EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling License
  • Demonstrate willingness to invest in tools used in Service of HVAC equipment
  • Demonstrate willingness to invest time in service training seminars and classes
  • Safely work from extension ladders, step ladders, scissor and genie lifts
  • Knowledge to problem solve HVAC service calls on most major brands of equipment
  • Understand and communicate benefits of preventative maintenance and build customer loyalty
  • Demonstrate good customer service skills and have ability to communicate clearly idea's and explanations of problems to residential and commercial customers and coworkers
  • Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility, control non-productive time, breaks and time off
  • Experience in training and mentoring service technicians and apprentices
  • Accurately and completely maintain records, including web-based Customer Service Management System (Complete customer files may include job photos, drawings, equipment information, inventory summaries, warranty documentation and other applicable documentation)
