Job summary

HS Studio in Halifax is seeking licensed hairstylists to join our team. We offer a performance-based pay system with above-average income potential, plus medical and dental benefits, RRSP, and ongoing education support.

Ideal candidates have a valid CANS license, at least 2 years of experience with a clientele, and are able to work evenings and weekends. You will provide services like cutting, color, highlights, balayage, and styling, while maintaining a clean station and offering consultations.

Qualifications

• Provide clients with a variety of hair services including cutting, color, highlights, balayage, relaxers, perms, styling.
• Provide client consultations and home care recommendations.
• Prepare the station before each shift.
• General cleaning duties such as laundry, sweeping, cleaning of station.

Duties and responsibilities:

Hourly rate ranges from $16.75 to $28.00 per hour based on approx. 28-35 hours per week and client demand.
