Experienced Terminal Manager for our Quebec City Terminal

Must have experience with End Mile Deliveries

Responsibilities
  • Manage Inbound / Outbound movement of freight
  • Manage Cross-Dock and Sortation Processes
  • Review volumes in established routes daily to balance workload audit drivers and terminal processes
  • Maintain relationships with key customer contacts involved in the day to day operations of their business
  • Maintain regular reporting to head office
  • Provide metrics to Customers daily to maintain level of performance
  • Contribute and maintain a successful safe team environment
  • Assessing problem areas or areas that require improvement and identify solutions utilizing other departments and management
  • Run continuous improvement initiatives to offer Best-in-Class services and procedures
  • Provide timely accurate and thorough Performance reviews
Requirements
  • Previous experience managing teams in the Transportation industry
  • Experience in small parcel delivery
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills
  • Ability to work with minimal direct supervision
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Goal oriented with a strong desire to achieve results
  • Have the ability to plan / organize prioritize and multi-task in a fast pace environment
  • Trouble shoot problems / issues and perform tasks in a cohesive manner
  • Detail oriented and excellent organization and planning skills
  • Knowledge in Health and Safety
  • Forklift experience
  • Manage building maintenance / operations costsSound computer skills
Working Conditions

This position is based in a professional office setting and involves regular use of standard office equipment. Occasionally minimal travel to other FastFrate locations may be required.
