We are looking for a skilled Cook to join our fantastic team starting April 2026. As a fast-paced, high-volume establishment, we take pride in creating consistent, high-quality food in a timely manner. If you’re passionate about great food, teamwork, and delivering guest experiences, we’d love to hear from you.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Chef and team in preparing and presenting food items.
  • Prepare all food items in a timely and hygienic manner.
  • Stock and manage assigned food station(s) and ensure quality of food served.
  • Follow recipes and food presentation specifications as set by the Chef and/or Sous Chef.
  • Properly store, rotate, and manage all food products.
  • Understand and adhere to company’s policies and processes, cooking methods, standard portion sizes, and kitchen rules and quality standards.
  • Maintain the highest level of kitchen sanitation and cleanliness.
  • Promote safety in all areas in the work place, including food safety, customer safety, and the safety of team members.

Support daily food production for retail food products.

Collaborate with local food distributors and farmers to source fresh ingredients.

Create innovative menu items using seasonal produce from our on-site gardens.

Work in the gardens as needed, including harvesting ingredients for daily specials.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of standard cooking, baking and grilling techniques.
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
  • Work cooperatively and efficiently in a team environment.
  • Ability to perform calmly under pressure.
  • Use critical thinking and reasoning skills to solve problems quickly.
  • Understand and follow written and verbal directions explicitly and ask questions for clarity when necessary.
  • Learn new recipes and new procedures rapidly.
  • Applicants must be a Canadian Citizen or already possess a valid Canadian Work Permit.
  • Full Time-Seasonal (April -November) (this position has been posted since November, 2025)
  • Rate of pay: $24-$26 depending on experience
  • Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
  • Schedule:
    • 8-10 hour shift
    • Day shift
    • Holidays
    • Monday to Friday
    • Night shift
    • Weekends as needed
    • Supplemental pay types:
      • Bonus pay
      • Tips
  • Experience:
    • Cooks: 1 year (required)
    • Cooking: 2 years (required)
  • Licence/Certification:
    • Food Safe, Safe Check, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
