Job summary

Upper Grand District School Board (UGDSB) seeks an innovative Superintendent of Student Achievement to lead Special Education, Mental Health and Student Support Services across K-12. The role emphasizes equity, inclusivity and human rights within a system-wide portfolio.

Reporting to the CEO, you will guide the Multi-Year Plan, oversee IEPs/IPRCs, and collaborate with SEAC and external partners to support all learners, including those with exceptionalities. Salary is $196,637 per year.

Qualifications

Experience and expertise as an educational leader with a commitment to completing SOQP within two years.
Active involvement in equity, inclusion and human rights as guiding leadership principles.
Strong knowledge of Special Education, inclusive education and student support services.

Responsibilities

Lead with system-wide responsibility for Special Education, Mental Health and Student Support Services.
Oversee implementation of the UGDSB Multi-Year Plan and Vision 2026+ priorities.
Foster transparent accountability, collaboration with SEAC and community partners.
Mentor Principals and manage portfolios across K-12 schools.
Ensure compliance with Education Act, IEPs and IPRCs, and advocate for equity.
