What You’ll Be Doing

As the Executive Director & Team Lead, Cash Management, you will lead a high-performing team to deliver innovative, client-focused cash management solutions at a strategic level. You will drive the growth and profitability of the cash management portfolio while fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment. This role requires a deep understanding of treasury and cash management practices, combined with exceptional leadership skills to guide risk management and implement strategic initiatives. You’ll be on-site full-time.

How You’ll Succeed
  • Team Leadership and Development - Lead and mentor a team of cash management professionals, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning. Provide coaching and development opportunities, set clear performance goals, monitor progress, and give constructive feedback to drive individual and team success.
  • Strategic Leadership - Develop and execute a comprehensive cash management strategy aligned with CIBC’s vision. Lead the design and implementation of innovative cash management solutions for complex, treasury-intensive clients. Identify emerging trends and opportunities to maintain CIBC’s competitive edge while driving continuous improvement.
  • Portfolio Growth and Profitability - Drive portfolio growth by identifying new business opportunities, negotiating pricing, and implementing profitable solutions. Develop and oversee strategies to increase wallet share with existing clients, focusing on revenue growth and client retention. Monitor portfolio performance with risk management and profitability targets.
  • Client Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, deliver tailored cash management solutions, and serve as a trusted advisor with treasury best practices and insights.
  • Operational Excellence - Oversee the development and enhancement of management reporting, including market share, profitability, and sustainability metrics. Drive the implementation of best practices, policies, and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance client experiences.
  • Collaboration - Collaborate with senior leaders across the organization to align cash management processes with broader objectives. Represent the bank in industry forums and client engagements.
Who You Are
  • You are a caring and accountable leader. 10+ years in cash management, treasury, or corporate banking with a proven track record in growth and client relationships; experience in leading and developing teams.
  • You put our clients first. Client-focused, with excellent communication and collaborative, professional ethics.
  • You know that details matter. Strong analytical thinking and proficiency in MS Office and industry tools; attention to detail.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s or professional designations preferred.
  • Values matter to you Demonstrates trust, teamwork, and accountability.
  • You're fluent in French and English For serving clients in the community.
