Job summary

Fraser Health is seeking an Executive Director to lead integrated community and hospital services across White Rock, South Surrey, South Delta and Peace Arch/Delta Hospitals. You will drive patient-centered care and oversee large-scale initiatives with the Vice President, Community Hospitals and Health Services.

Major capital projects include a 200-bed long-term care centre, upgraded MRI/endoscopy services, and teaching hospital development with SFU Stephens Family School of Medicine.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a health-related field with significant senior leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and determine goals for community hospital services and integrated care.
• Identify short, medium and long-term objectives, programs and services; assess options and make recommendations.
• Represent Fraser Health with stakeholders, patients, families and municipal leaders; maintain ongoing relationships.
• Identify and remove barriers to a seamless system of care across community and hospital settings.
• Accountable for the annual operating and capital budget for the Community Hospital and Health Services area.
• Develop and deliver cross-disciplinary collaboration with physicians and health care teams; monitor quality and safety.
• Champion quality improvement processes and ensure alignment with accreditation standards.
• Provide leadership to engage physicians, staff and volunteers and build partnerships with Foundations.
