Our client, providing quality, customized services to seniors and their families, is looking for an Executive Director for their Homecare division in North York. As the Executive Director, Homecare (EDH), you will have an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our clients and their families by taking on responsibility for the overall management and operations of our homecare business.
You will ensure the effective functioning of the homecare line of business (LOB) by overseeing all day-to-day operations, including client care, caregiving staff, finances, human resources, and general administration. You will have overall leadership and accountability for the LOB’s performance (financial & operational) and take an active role in the growth of the LOB and in maintaining a positive image of the business in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all operational functions of the homecare business, including staff management, service quality, and client & staff satisfaction.
- Develop and implement processes to monitor performance, assess issues, and improve service delivery.
- Enhance client health and safety by educating clients and families and standardizing best practices.
- Work with HR to ensure adequate staffing and conduct regular evaluations for performance improvements.
- Lead growth initiatives by managing budgets, collaborating on business development, acquiring new clients, and executing marketing strategies.
- Focus on quality and efficiency improvements through metrics analysis, standardization, compliance, and budget planning.
Position Requirements:
- University degree in nursing or related health discipline.
- Relevant health profession certification (e.g., RN).
- Minimum 10 years of direct care delivery experience.
- Minimum 10 years of health management experience, including budgeting and legislative knowledge.
- Extensive experience in healthcare services, especially community care, with a good understanding of the marketplace and stakeholder issues.
- Experience in program or business development in healthcare settings.
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (within 6 months).
- Proficiency in information technologies supporting client care and operations.
- French language skills are preferred.
