Job description

Our client, providing quality, customized services to seniors and their families, is looking for an Executive Director for their Homecare division in North York.

As the Executive Director, Homecare (EDH), you will have an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our clients and their families by taking on responsibility for the overall management and operations of our homecare business.

You will ensure the effective functioning of the homecare line of business (LOB) by overseeing all day-to-day operations, including client care, caregiving staff, finances, human resources, and general administration. You will have overall leadership and accountability for the LOB’s performance (financial & operational) and take an active role in the growth of the business and maintaining a positive community image.

  • Job Type: Full-time, permanent
  • Compensation: Competitive package with potential commissions
Key Responsibilities
  1. Operational Oversight: Manage all homecare operations, staff, service quality, and client/staff satisfaction. Establish monitoring processes and improve client safety and health education.
  2. Growth and Financial Performance: Work with finance on budgets, collaborate on business development, acquire new clients, and execute marketing strategies.
  3. Quality & Efficiency Improvement: Analyze metrics, standardize operations, ensure compliance, and plan budgets.
Position Requirements
  • Degree in nursing or related health discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of care delivery and health management experience
  • Experience with healthcare legislation, program development, and business growth
  • Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (within 6 months)
  • Knowledge of healthcare IT and ability to communicate in French preferred
