A nonprofit organization focused on hearing care is seeking an Executive Director to guide strategic direction and operational oversight. This role demands extensive experience in fundraising and grant management, along with strong leadership skills to supervise an international team. The position is fully remote, with a preference for candidates located in Montreal. Join to transform access to hearing care globally and lead impactful initiatives. Competitive salary offered between CAD 90,000 and 110,000 with bonuses.
Over 430 million people live with disabling hearing loss, yet most do not have access to the hearing care and hearing aids they need. World Wide Hearing Foundation International (WWH) is a dynamic, entrepreneurial and innovation-driven nonprofit organization headquartered in Montreal with a mission to change that because access to hearing care ensures that children and adults with hearing loss can break free from social isolation and reach their full potential. Hearing is critical to a child’s development and is essential for their ability to communicate and go to school. Our work therefore helps ensure better mental health, greater educational attainment and access to jobs, and higher levels of economic productivity.
WWH works collaboratively with local partners and governments across the world to build long-term systems that supply affordable hearing aids and hearing-test solutions in lower- and middle-income countries and underserved communities, including Cameroon, Canada, Guatemala, Kenya, Peru, Philippines, and Zimbabwe. All our projects focus on sustainability, capacity building, community engagement, public health, and last-mile delivery in international development. Our supporters have included Google.org, the World Health Organization (WHO), the McConnell Foundation, TELUS, and government agencies.
Our work is expanding—and we’re looking for someone who’s excited to help shape it. Could that be you?
The role is fully remote, with a preference for candidates based in Montreal to facilitate occasional in-person collaboration.
