About the Opportunity

Working on behalf of a mission-driven not-for-profit, we have the good fortune of conducting a search for an Executive Assistant. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will provide support services for both the E.D. and Associate E.D., by maintaining strong and collaborative relationships with Senior Managers, the Board of Directors and stakeholders.

Duties include but are not limited to :
  • Provide executive and administrative support to the executive team with calendar management and document production
  • Provide Board & Governance support, serving as the primary point-of-contact for the Board of Directors and leadership team
  • Coordinate the logistics of Board meetings including scheduling, preparation and distribution of materials and minute-taking
  • Support governance best practices, compliance requirements and document management
  • Oversee general office administration, including vendor / contractor relationships
  • Support community involvement and fundraising events
  • Assist with communication initiatives, including newsletters and announcements

Take on occasional relief reception, as needed

About You

The successful candidate will have the following :

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, related field or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of three to five years of relevant experience supporting an executive
  • Demonstrated experience working with a Board of Directors and / or Corporate Governance
  • Strong organizational and / or project management skills
  • The ability to work well as a team member, rolling up your sleeves when necessary- no task is too small
  • Fluency in both English with French considered an asset
  • Strong technical skills in the MsOffice suite of software
About the Job

This position is a full time / permanent position offering an annual salary of $58,000-$68,000 with a comprehensive benefits package that includes a retirement component. They work on site in a centrally located office with parking.
