Job summary

A local trucking company in Toronto is seeking an organized and efficient individual to provide administrative support. The ideal candidate will handle various tasks such as preparing reports, coordinating meetings, and providing customer service. A college diploma and some experience are preferred. This is a permanent position requiring 30 hours of work per week in English.

Qualifications

  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Compile data to prepare documents.
  • Establish and coordinate administrative policies and procedures.
  • Prepare reports for consideration and presentation.
  • Analyze incoming and outgoing memoranda, submissions, and reports.
  • Prepare agendas and make arrangements for meetings.
  • Liaise with departmental and corporate officials.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations.
  • Provide customer service.
  • Manage events.
  • Perform administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate special publicity events and promotions.
