Job summary

Head Medical seeks General Practitioners to join a new open practice in Edmonton, Alberta. The clinic offers a modern setting with 6 consulting rooms, on-site pharmacy, and no on-call requirements. An attractive compensation model pays 80% of billings with potential earnings over CAD 350,000 per year, depending on workload and patient load.

Initial contracts are two years with renewal options. Training and support are provided for the EMS system, and relocation can be discussed during interviews.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to be licensed for General Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).
• UK Ireland US Canada or Australasia training recognized (CCT/MRCGP, MICGP, ABFM, FRACGP)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive GP care to a diverse patient population.
• Collaborate with on-site pharmacy and clinic team to manage patient care.
• Work in a new open practice with standard hours and potential weekend coverage if required.

Our client is now recruiting for General Practitioners to join a new and open practice in Edmonton, Alberta!

An exciting opportunity has arisen in one of the most highly sought after locations in Alberta, Canada. Edmonton is a thriving city with a rapidly growing population and offers a great lifestyle for GP`s keen to relocate to Alberta, which also has the highest billing codes in Canada.

• The practice has6 Consulting rooms, and is based in a highly populated area close to schools and a mall.
• There will be a varied patient demographic ranging from seniors to young families.
• Opening hours of the practice are 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday, and 10am - 3pm Saturday and Sunday (any weekend work can be accommodated if required and negotiated)
• No On Calls Required
• Fully functioning Pharmacy on site

Benefits:

• Attractive and competitive overheads, GP`s will keep 80% of all Billings
• Earning potential between 350,000 - 500,000+ CAD per year depending on workload and patients seen
• Unique billing system will be in place to generate more income for doctors (details can be discussed during interviews)
• Cliniccovers all operational expenses (EMR Registration, supplies, equipment)
• Clinic will also offer $5000Dollars as an incentive / sign on bonus and 1 first month free from any overheads on billings
• Training given for the system to be used at the practice upon joining
• Minimum initial contracts of 2 years with option to continue renewing indefinitely

Requirements:

• Must be eligible to be licensed for General Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
• Only GP`s / Family Medicine doctors who completed their training in either the UK (with CCT and MRCGP), Ireland (with MICGP), United States (with ABFM), Canada or Australasia (with FRACGP) can be considered
