Key Responsibilities

  • Responds to patron issues in a timely manner and provide resolution to issues, while providing superior customer service.
  • Promotes excellent employee relations through respect, courtesy, tact and friendliness.
  • Cleans and maintains all assigned areas, public and non-public in an effective, efficient, safe manner.
  • Ensures all cleaning products are stored in the designated area and in a safe and secure environment.
  • All equipment is operated, cleaned and maintained according to Standard Operating Procedure.
  • Accurately complete inspection reports on all equipment used.
  • Must be familiar with and follow all WHMIS standards and accurately complete an annual WHMIS test.
  • Accurately follow an SOP (standard operating procedure) and operation of equipment required for each job assignment and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Maintains Fall Arrest/Aerial Lift license and be recertified every three years.
  • Works outdoors in all types of weather, including extreme heat, extreme cold with exposure to insects.

What You Bring

  • Ability to work with industrial floor cleaning equipment and able to push and lift heavy equipment.
  • Ability to work on a scissor lift at elevated heights of nineteen feet or more.
  • Capacity to safely operate an outdoor utility vehicle in all types of weather.
  • Able to work independently and/or cohesively as part of a team and inspire. foster commitment and pride while promoting good employee relations with co-workers.
  • Committed to learning, be competent and maintain knowledge of cleaning supplies, floor care equipment and other motorized equipment, including proper and safe storage of such.
  • Ability to safely work with specialized cleaning chemicals, such as strippers, waxes, sealing agents, etc.
  • Able to perform duties continuously throughout a shift and multiple times per week.
  • Accountability and follow-through on commitments.
  • Good physical stamina and able to continuously perform heavy lifting, bending stretching.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Ability to shovel snow and assist with emergency situations.
  • Able to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
