Job description
Overview

Director of Product Experience & Engagement , EverConnect – REMOTE

We are seeking an innovative and strategic Director of Product Experience & Engagement to own the UI, UX, and conversion performance of our internal platform. This role combines the creative vision of a product design leader with the analytical mindset of a CRO specialist and the storytelling skills of a product marketer.

You will lead end-to-end product experience and design strategy from user journey mapping to interface design—while driving measurable improvements in engagement, conversion, and product-led growth (PLG). The ideal candidate has experience designing complex B2B or B2C workflow platforms (e.g., Airtable, Monday.com), integrates AI into design thinking, and thrives at the intersection of product design, growth strategy, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Product Experience & Design Leadership

  • Own the platform’s end-to-end UI/UX strategy, ensuring designs are visually compelling, highly usable, and optimized for conversion.
  • Define, document, and optimize user journeys that support adoption, retention, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Apply AI-forward design principles to streamline workflows, enhance personalization, and improve efficiency.

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

  • Develop and execute a CRO roadmap, including A/B testing, multivariate testing, and funnel optimization strategies.
  • Leverage behavioral analytics to identify friction points and improve user flow, engagement, and revenue-driving actions.
  • Partner with product, marketing, and analytics teams to deliver measurable gains in PLG metrics.

Product Marketing Integration

  • Translate platform capabilities into compelling value propositions within the product experience.
  • Partner with marketing to design in-platform campaigns, onboarding flows, and feature adoption strategies.
  • Ensure consistent brand voice, design standards, and storytelling across product touchpoints.

AI-Driven Design Innovation

  • Incorporate AI and automation tools into the design process to accelerate testing, prototyping, and personalization.
  • Stay ahead of design and AI trends, recommending forward-thinking features and capabilities.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, marketing, and analytics to align design execution with business goals.
  • Serve as the champion of user-centric design principles across the organization.
Qualifications

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in UI/UX design, product design leadership, or digital experience strategy and execution.
  • Proven track record designing and optimizing workflow-based platforms (B2B SaaS or B2C marketplaces).
  • Demonstrated success in driving conversion rate improvements and PLG initiatives.

Technical Expertise

  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong understanding of CRO methodologies, analytics platforms (e.g., Hotjar, Heap, Pendo), and behavioral data interpretation.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to effectively collaborate with development teams.

AI & Tool-Driven Efficiency

  • Experience integrating AI tools into the design and optimization process.
  • Comfort with rapid experimentation and data-driven decision-making.

Key Competencies

  • Strategic thinker with exceptional creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong visual and interaction design skills with a deep understanding of user psychology.
  • Highly collaborative and comfortable leading in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
  • Clear communicator who can inspire teams and articulate design decisions to stakeholders.
