A local sports club in Ottawa seeks an Events Coordinator to manage event planning and delivery. You will lead Event Leads, oversee logistics, and build a strong volunteer database. Ideal candidates possess 3-5 years of experience in event planning and strong leadership skills. This part-time role offers an honorarium of $3500 and requires commitment to community engagement.

The Maverick Volleyball Club serves Ottawa and its surrounding communities in providing our youth with high-quality volleyball programs. Our Club takes pride in our successful track record of promoting and fostering leadership, organizational, team, and life skills for the benefit of its members.
The Events Coordinator ensures consistent, high-quality planning and delivery of Maverick Volleyball events by overseeing Event Leads and providing them with historical operations plans, tools, and guidance. This role ensures every event reflects the club’s mission, vision, and values while supporting growth, community engagement, and sponsor relationships. The Events Coordinator also builds, grows, and maintains the club’s volunteer database to ensure a strong and reliable pool of volunteers.
