Job description

We are building an on‑site event team for esports tournaments, mixers, and industry networking events. These staff members are the frontline of the experience — responsible for setting up equipment, assisting attendees, gathering customer feedback, and helping administer esports tournaments.

This is not a remote role. You will work on location during events, helping ensure smooth operations and an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
Event Setup & Teardown
  • Help set up equipment, stations, and venue layout
  • Manage cables, tables, gear organization, signage, etc.
  • Assist with teardown and packing after the event
Customer Experience & Support
  • Greet attendees & assist with check‑in
  • Answer questions about the event or tournament rules
  • Provide a welcoming and professional environment
  • Guide attendees to different stations / activities
Tournament Administration
  • Register players & confirm participation
  • Assist with score reporting & brackets
  • Ensure rules are followed and disputes are handled correctly
  • Coordinate with the event lead during live matches
Marketing & Engagement
  • Collect attendee info for raffles & marketing
  • Promote social media engagement (follow/like/share)
  • Record feedback & suggestions from guests
  • Assist with giveaways, raffles, and prize announcements
General Duties
  • Maintain clean, organized event space
  • Follow team leads’ instructions
  • Support VIPs, sponsors, and vendors as needed
Ideal Candidate
  • Likes esports, events, gaming, or customer service
  • Works well under pressure and in live environments
  • Is friendly, reliable, and task‑oriented
  • Can communicate clearly and present a professional image
  • Wants real experience in the esports industry
Skills (Preferred but Not Required)
  • Tournament admin experience (Challonge, Start.gg, Battlefy, etc.)
  • Event operations / retail / customer service
  • Tech setup (basic computer & console hardware knowledge)
  • Social media experience
