Job summary

Adecco is hiring Event Staff for Cirque du Soleil in Vancouver, BC. You will support concessions, merchandise sales, and guest services, helping deliver a memorable Cirque experience to guests.

Shifts run in the show schedule with pay at $19.00/hour. Prior POS experience and FOODSAFE Level 1 certification are required, and applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada. This is a temporary to full-time opportunity with varying hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in upselling and cross-selling is preferred.
• Ability to learn and operate a point-of-sale system.
• Excellent customer service and hospitality mindset.

Responsibilities

• Have up-sell and sales experience
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
• Collect payments, whether in cash or credit
• Redeem coupons
• Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
• Greet customers when entering or leaving the merchandise area
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout area
• Bag, box or gift-wrap packages
• Handle merchandise returns and exchanges
• Assertive and competent selling of concession products around the front-of-site and inside the big top.

Adecco is currently hiring Event Staff for the upcoming Cirque du Soleil production in Vancouver, BC. This is your chance to work behind the scenes of one of the world's most celebrated live entertainment experiences while helping create unforgettable moments for guests under the Big Top.

We're looking for energetic, customer-focused individuals who love working with people, thrive in fast-paced environments, and bring a positive attitude to every shift. Whether you're assisting with concessions, merchandise sales, or guest services, you'll be part of the team that helps bring the Cirque experience to life.

• Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
• Location: Vancouver, BC
• Shift: 2 hours prior to the beginning of the show until the second part of the last show. Hours will vary. Until the end of the show | 5 days a week (subject to change according to the show schedule)

• Valid FOODSAFE Level 1 certification is required

• Work well with others

• Have a welcoming and friendly attitude (smile and proper greetings)
