Job summary

West Egg Security is seeking Event Security Guards / Supervisors to provide highly visible, advanced security services at a critical infrastructure site in Hamilton, Ontario. You will monitor premises, control access, respond to emergencies, assist visitors and staff, resolve conflicts, and patrol to ensure safety.

Applicants should have a minimum of 1 year of security experience, a valid Security license, and be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays in outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Excellent written & verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Minimum High School diploma or Grade 12 education.
• Minimum of 1 year of security related experience.
• Must possess a valid Security license.
• Able to work nights, weekends, weekdays, and holidays.
• Able to work outdoors any weather conditions with excessive walking and long periods of standing.

Responsibilities

• Surveillance of premises to prevent theft, vandalism, or other illegal activities.
• Access control by checking credentials and verifying identification.
• Emergency response and coordination with emergency services.
• Customer service and providing information to visitors and staff.
• Conflict resolution in a calm, professional manner.
• Patrols and inspections of doors, windows, and access points.
