About the role

Q4 is looking to build a flexible team of contract Event Producers to help manage our peak business periods. Currently, we are hiring for our upcoming busy period (4-5 week contract) with the possibility to return for subsequent peak business periods!

You will be responsible for audio editing, updating and archiving webcasts, and additional support work as assigned. We are looking for a highly detail oriented, technically savvy, a critical thinker, very organized and interested in the production of online events. In addition to the above you will demonstrate excellent communication skills necessary for corresponding with C-Suite level executives.

This is a great role for students, freelancers/contractors or individuals with part-time jobs who can work flexible hours during the week. Shifts can range from 4 to 8 hours between Monday to Friday: 7AM to 8PM EST.

Key Responsibilities

• Management of audio recording session and post–editing
• Uploading resources and materials to webcast console
• Archiving webcasts post production
• Flexible hours – shifts can range from 4 to 8 hours (Monday to Friday)
• Proactive issue reporting
• Produce webcast events as needed

Educationh3>

• University or College Degree in media, communications or equivalent (in progress or completed)
• Working knowledge of PC and/or Mac-based environments
• Experience using Descript or similar audio editing software an asset
• Digital/web experience is a must. Technical, Mobile Apps and Financial experience are a bonus!
• Prior experience in a client facing role
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Ability to verbally communicate instructions and direction clearly and effectively
• Ability to handle a fast paced, high pressure environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Events background – media or digital events an asset (such as webcasting/webinars)
• Audio editing background

Working Conditions

• Non-business hours activities such as critical client events, escalations and holiday coverage (this position may require after hours, weekend and holiday support as needed for earnings and/or emergencies.)
