Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Catering Server to deliver and serve food and beverages at scheduled functions in Alberta. You will assemble items, log temperatures, assist with prep, arrange buffets, and serve guests while maintaining safety and cleanliness throughout events.

Requirements include a Food Handler Certificate, a Responsible Beverage Service Certificate, and at least 1 year of relevant experience. A valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Responsible Beverage Service Certificate for the province of application.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar environment.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Able to read event orders and organize deliveries for the day.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and serve food at scheduled functions.
• Log and maintain food temperatures.
• Assist with food and table prep before events.
• Arrange buffet tables with food and service items per standards.
• Serve plated dinners and respond to beverage/appetizer requests.
• Keep display equipment clean during service.
• Clean up and close out post-event tasks.
• Return equipment to catering facility and maintain supplies.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• May drive a catering delivery truck.
