Bayview Trucks & Equipment Ltd.

is a Full Service, Parts and Sales dealer for Kenworth Trucks and KUBOTA farm and construction equipment, with 5 locations in New Brunswick (Saint John, Fredericton, Moncton, Woodstock & Bathurst) and two in Nova Scotia, New Glasgow and to Dartmouth.

Reporting to the Service Manager, the Evening Service Advisor is a confident, energetic, CUSTOMER FOCUSED member of the Service department.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and WELCOME customers.
  • Open Repair orders with accurate and thorough information, including the details of the vehicle concerns, to assist with proper diagnosis.
  • Verify open warranty recalls or campaigns available for the customer.
  • Confirm Warranty eligibility and process the warranty claims.
  • Work with Service Foreman and technicians to maintain clear communication with the customer and ensure that their concerns are addressed quickly.
  • Maintain this communication with the customers throughout the repair process, including the customer’s approval of the repair, an estimate of the cost and an expected time of completion.
  • Ensure all charges are calculated and posted with accuracy to ensure timely close of Repair Orders.
  • Identify possible upcoming Preventative Maintenance services with customers and schedule for them.
  • Maintain an organized work space and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned by the Service Manager or Foreman.
Required Experience / skill set
  • Strong computer skills with an emphasis on Windows based programs and MS Excel & Word.
  • Minimum of 3 years Automotive / Truck dealership experience.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills with the ability to prioritize and focus in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with KARMAK is an Asset.
