Qualifications

• Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with Ontario College of Nurses.
• Experience in Geriatrics, Rehabilitation or senior health is an asset.
• Ability to identify risk and foster a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as per established policies and resident plan of care.
• Ensure excellent nursing and personal care delivery.
• Create a supportive environment through teamwork and communication.
• Oversee resident care and guide staff effectively.
• Supervise Personal Support Workers assigned to the unit.
• Conduct admission, readmission, and change in status assessments.
