Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a License as a Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse in the province of practice.
• Clinical practice experience is an asset.
• Experience in community health is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to predictable clients with established plans.
• Manages and facilitates care via established nursing care plans.
• Documents all relevant information per VON standards.

Skills

Ability to observe and make effective assessments of clinical issues

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to problem solve and adapt nursing interventions

Time management skills for independent planning

Education

License as a Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse
