Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care for individuals in their homes.
• Assist clients with daily activities and mobility.
• Document care given and assist with medical needs.

Skills

Ability to provide safe, effective, personal care

Ability to communicate effectively

Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking skills

Basic computer skills: MS Word and Outlook

Effective command of the English language (oral and written)

Knowledge of Indigenous customs, traditions and values

Ability to speak, read and write French

Education

Successful completion of a recognized Health Care Aide course
