Leclercfoods is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to support warehousing, distribution, and logistics. The role uses industrial equipment to move goods, maintain stock, and ensure accurate transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for unloading, inventory control, order preparation, and safety compliance while supporting 6S and continuous improvement initiatives. This position may require overtime and weekend hours.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license (class 1) with a good driving history.
• 2-5 years warehouse experience (food manufacturing preferred).
• Ability to certify and maintain forklift certification.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office, handheld scanners and printers.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds; sit/stand/walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work well with others.

Mansioni

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
• Prepare customer orders ensuring the accuracy of the products and their quantities.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Report and replace any defective item prior to packing.
• Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee inventory control and security.
• Move product from staging/storage into appropriate locations.
• Load items onto shipment vehicle safely and in a timely manner.
• Receive merchandise and sign delivery slips.
• Record transactions in computer system by scanning products and materials.
• Prepare invoices and delivery orders.
• Handle space arrangements for incoming shipments.
• Participate in physical inventory and maintain cleanliness and security of the area.
• Engage in 6S and continuous improvement projects.
• Operate safely in compliance with OSHA and SDS standards.
• Be flexible with work hours, overtime and weekends when needed.
