Job summary

CSN Champlain Auto Body is seeking an experienced EV Auto Body Repair Technician to join our collision repair team. The successful candidate will specialize in repairing electric and hybrid vehicles safely and accurately according to manufacturer specifications.

This role requires strong collision repair skills, knowledge of high-voltage safety, OEM repair procedures, and the ability to follow calibration and diagnostic steps.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of auto body collision repair experience.
• Experience repairing EV/hybrid vehicles and high-voltage safety training preferred.
• I-CAR welding certification required or to be obtained within agreed period.

Responsibilities

• Review estimates, work orders, repair plans, and OEM procedures and document supplements.
• Identify high-voltage EV/hybrid vehicles and follow safety protocols and shutdown/tagout procedures.
• Inspect EV-specific components and report hazards.
• Perform full structural and collision repairs using OEM-approved methods.
• Coordinate and verify diagnostics, ADAS calibrations, and system initializations.
• Maintain repair documentation and conduct quality-control checks.
