Job summary

Astra-North Infoteck Inc. in Toronto is seeking an ETL Developer to design and manage data warehouse solutions, leveraging AWS services to optimize pipelines.

You will mentor developers, lead ETL development, and ensure data quality across warehouse environments for financial domain projects.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with ETL data warehouses and design of ETL pipelines.
• Proficient in MS SSIS/SSRS for data integration and reporting.
• Experience with AWS Redshift and AWS Glue for data warehousing and data movement.

Responsibilities

• Own ETL data warehouse design, development, and maintenance.
• Develop and maintain SSIS packages and data integration solutions.
• Lead and mentor a team of developers on data warehouse projects.
• Understand business requirements and translate into scalable data warehouse solutions.

Job Description:

Toronto; Hybrid 2 days a week onsite

Role and Responsibilities:

• Resource has strong data warehouse technical knowledge.
• Resource have knowledge in Bank and financial domain (Minimum 10+ years of experience).
• Resource also required knowledge in ETL process and develop the SSIS packages.
• Ability to lead the team of developers and mentor as needed.
• Ability to understand the requirements and experience in managing complete data warehouse systems.

MUST HAVE:

• ETL data warehouse
• MS SSIS/SSRS
• AWS Redshift, AWS Glue

NICE TO HAVE:

• AWS Cloud services (Spark, Redshift and EMR) Knowledge in lending systems and functional knowledge on the same Knowledge in MDM systems for customer demographics process Knowledge in retail and commercial deposit system process (Core banking with Canadian banking domain) Strong solution Knowledge in AWS Cloud and hands on experience with ETL process (like Kafka message processing, batch interface data injection and other business layer process)
