Job summary

Perfection Electric, a growing leader in its sector headquartered in Montreal, invites a Senior Estimator to join its experienced team. The successful candidate will lead cost estimating for diverse projects, leveraging design-build familiarity and MS Office proficiency.

Fluency in French and English is required to coordinate with suppliers and clients. You will play a key role in preparing bids, reviewing conditions, and ensuring accurate, timely estimates to support project success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in estimators or similar functions.
• Knowledge of the Design-build system.
• Strong written and spoken communication in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work to be estimated by collecting proposals, specs, plans and tender documents.
• Analyze and suggest alternatives to what is specified on drawings.
• Identify and review general and special conditions of projects.
• Calculate costs by analyzing labor and material requirements.
• Obtain bids from suppliers.
• Conduct quantity and material surveys.
• Prepare formal bid documents.
• Present the estimate to the Chief Estimator and/or Project Manager.
• Attend site visits when required.

• more than 5 years of experience in similar functions
• knowledge of the Design-build system and MS Office suite (Outlook-Word-Excel)
