Location Note: This position is based in Sarnia, Ontario. Some training may take place on-site in London, Ontario. While candidates from outside the area are welcome to apply, the successful candidate will be fully responsible for their own commute.

Position Overview:

As a Repair Planner (Estimator) at our dynamic collision repair shop, you will be the central coordinator for damage analysis, insurer communication, parts procurement, and workflow optimization. Your role ensures that every vehicle repair project is efficiently planned and executed to meet quality standards and customer expectations. You will work closely with technicians, insurance appraisers, and parts suppliers to keep the repair process on track.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage repair schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion of repairs.
  • Coordinate between technicians, parts departments, and external service providers to streamline repair processes.
  • Identify and order the necessary parts and materials required for each repair job.
  • Track parts delivery and manage inventory to prevent delays in repairs.
  • Communicate with insurance companies and adjusters to confirm coverage details and timelines.
  • Ensure repair procedures comply with industry standards, OEM guidelines, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor repair quality and address any discrepancies or rework needs promptly.
  • Handle inquiries and resolve issues to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of repair orders, parts usage, and completed work.
  • Utilize shop management software to track and document the repair process.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
