Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience estimating major civil and infrastructure projects.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent ability to read drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and work sequencing.
• Experience with large-scale, high-value projects ($100M+).
• Proficiency with estimating tools and specialized software.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and professional judgment.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• A strong command of English is essential due to ongoing collaboration with the Toronto head office, while French proficiency is necessary to effectively serve and support French-speaking teams in Quebec.

What is the Opportunity?

Within Aecon, the Senior Estimator plays a key role in the success of major civil infrastructure projects (transportation, structures, urban and industrial infrastructure). He/she is responsible for producing accurate and strategic estimates, working closely with project teams, engineering, and leadership to support business decisions and ensure competitive bids.
