Job Summary:
In January 2020, Langara College migrated its HR and finance operations to the cloud-based Workday ERP platform. Langara is now transforming its Student Information Systems (SIS) through a suite of solutions, including the Workday Student product. Design efforts to-date on Workday Student have revealed needs to adjust Langara’s existing Workday platform and related business processes. This role will primarily be supporting these Student-HR “touchpoint” projects.
Under the general guidance of one or more project managers, the Business Analyst leads the assessment of client needs, and business and systems requirements in alignment with information technology solutions. This position provides expertise in the areas of functional requirements definition, functional design, data, functional specifications for integrations and reporting configuration, business process analysis and design, testing, training and documentation to deliver enterprise solutions. This position also provides expertise in benefits realization planning, reporting and tracking. The Business Analyst is an integral member of the team and has a strategic perspective and a broad-based understanding of integrating business operations with an enterprise solution.
