ERP Business Analyst
Our client requires a Business Analyst to support an enterprise system transformation initiative focused on Human Capital Management (HCM), specifically implementing and optimizing time and attendance solutions for Workforce Software (WFS) modules. Resource will collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business processes, validate data, and ensure successful system integration and testing. Key responsibilities include requirements gathering, solution design review, test planning, and risk management within large-scale HR technology projects
Work is hybrid with minimum 2 days per week in the client office in Edmonton.

Responsibilities
- Updates documented current business processes for Human Resources
- Provides input and reviews relevant design documents, including solution design
- Develop User Acceptance Test (UAT) artifacts such as; test scripts, test cases, test conditions, and expected results
- Assist the Module Lead in facilitating stakeholder meetings,
- Provide recommendations on risk identification and risk mitigation strategies
- Participates in data conversions and performs data validations for MC4 and Cutover, writes SQLs and other tools to help with the validation process
- Participates and actively executes tests during SIT3. Leads testing sessions in UAT to support business area testers.
- Manage changing priorities to complete project delivery within defined constraints (time, scope, budget, etc.)
- Develops appropriate documentation, to program standards and creates appropriate program artifacts
- Delivers to agreed upon project plan, provides status updates, proactively identifies Risks & Issues to the Module Lead
- Leverage knowledge of payroll processing and integrations with HCM and time-tracking systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, SAP, WFS) to support implementation
Mandatory Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Business Analysis and / or Business Systems Analysis
- Demonstrated business systems analysis experience for Cloud ERP solutions; SAP Cloud experience is preferred
- Competent in using Google Suite
- Experience with Data Validation and Cutover activities
- Knowledge of proven industry best practices and standards
- Can write SQL queries
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desirable Requirements
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation (Canadian Payroll Association) or equivalent certification
- Understanding of full-cycle payroll processing (from time capture through to pay distribution and reporting)
- Degree or Professional Certification
- CBAP designation
- Experience working with Workforce Software
- Familiarity with time and attendance systems and payroll system integrations (e.g., Workday, Dayforce, ADP, SAP, WFS etc.)
