Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Wellness Specialist to join the Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team at an Amazon Fulfillment Center in Alberta. You will lead onsite injury prevention and proactive safety initiatives, partnering with associates to improve movement patterns and reduce injuries through ergonomic training.

The role focuses on data-driven prevention, ergonomic program delivery, and collaboration with operations to embed prevention into daily work.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of workplace health & safety experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• High school or equivalent.
• Experience with Microsoft Word in a professional capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in athletic therapy, human kinetics, ergonomics, or kinesiology.

Responsibilities

• Lead injury prevention and ergonomic education on site.
• Design workplace evaluations to identify hazards and reduce risks.
• Deliver proactive training and coaching to sustain behavior change.
