Position Details

ERDG 310 – Teaching Literacy for a Better World (Pre‑K to Grade 8)

This course prepares future elementary and middle years teachers to support and instruct students, as readers and writers; to grow through progressive and genre pedagogies; to accommodate transience through the literacy program; and to offer literature from a variety of cultures.

Position Requirements
  • Master of Education degree appropriate to the area of instruction (preferred).
  • Experience in the education system appropriate to the content of the course applied for.
  • Knowledge and experience with the Saskatchewan curriculum.
  • Knowledge and experience with Faculty of Education programs.
  • Current knowledge of issues related to the course for which the applicant has applied.
  • University teaching experience is an asset.
Course Modality

Remote delivery. Course dates: January 6 – April 29, 2026, Tuesdays, 1900 – 2145.
