Job summary

A regional healthcare facility is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and provide patient care while adhering to Ontario nursing standards. Responsibilities include triage, patient assessment, and team collaboration. Ideal candidates will possess current Ontario registration, CPR certification, and strong communication skills. Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience preferred.
• ACLS/PALS/NALS/TNCC course preferred.
• Triage/CTAS course preferred.
• EKG/Dysrhythmia interpretation course/skill an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to and relief for all areas as required.
• Perform triage, collect information, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Must be willing to work the present 12-hour shift rotation.
• Provide culturally competent and respectful care.

Education

Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
