Job summary

BMO Capital Markets is seeking a Database and Development Associate for the Equity Research Production team in Toronto to deliver global equity systems, reporting, analytics and CRM support for executives and front-line professionals.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in finance and/or energy, and a proven ability to leverage technology and AI to improve research efficiency and insight generation. 2–5 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with 2–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Salesforce, Power BI, PowerQuery, CoPilot, Python, C#.
• Understanding of Capital Markets products and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Input, extract, and manipulate data from client databases and source systems to meet publishing/reporting needs.
• Develop and implement reporting for Global Equity Products.
• Understand business rationale of requests and manage client expectations to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with Operations/Technology to fix data issues at the source while considering downstream impacts.
• Participate in project and team meetings to understand requirements and deliverables.
