Job summary

Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan is seeking an intern to join the Equities’ Portfolio Solutions Team in Toronto for May 2027–August 2027. You will support portfolio construction analytics, assist with data management, and help prepare materials for portfolio reviews and senior leadership.

The role offers exposure to private equity analytics and reporting within a high-performing investment division, with opportunities to develop tools for decision-making and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Currently an undergraduate in business, accounting, finance, or related fields
• Strong academic track record
• Excellent quantitative, analytical and data management skills
• Working knowledge of fundamental investment and valuation analysis
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Self-motivated and able to perform in a fast-paced environment
• Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI is a plus
• Must be enrolled in 2nd–4th year and in a co-op program

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing portfolio monitoring for Equities and Portfolio Solutions, including valuations
• Assist in data cleaning and analysis across reporting platforms to produce actionable insights
• Coordinate data requests and assemble investment monitoring materials for quarterly reviews
• Develop recurring and ad-hoc analyses and reports for senior leadership
• Collaborate with teams across Ontario Teachers’ to support enterprise initiatives
